Time and Money

Recently, my grandson has been having a horrible time with time and money. Every time I ask him a question he changes the subject.

I haven't quite figured out which type of learner he is yet, but I am leaning towards visual. If that is the case, maybe a play clock and some play money would help him. It might bring in a little tactile learning as well.

So, the problem for the day...if you were earning a dollar an hour to start with fifty cent increases every half hour, how much would you earn after working 13 straight hours?
